My two traveling companions (Janet and Ali) and I would like to express our deepest appreciation to you, our guide Lena, and our driver for making our three days in St. Petersburg a fantastic experience. All the way from our pre-cruise e-mail planning to our final departure leaving your wonderful city, everything was handled perfectly.

Your flexibility in being able to customize our itinerary and even to change it on the fly when Janet and Ali decided they wanted to shop a little more was more than we could have asked for.

I can't say enough about our guide Lena. She was fun to be with from start to finish. And knowledgeable - wow! We were so impressed with her knowledge of Russian history that we thought she might not be as knowledgeable on art when we got to the Hermitage.

We couldn't have been more wrong - she could have been a professor of fine art at one of the leading universities of the world. When you have a group ranging in age from 70 (me) to 19 (Ali) and you can keep them interested, engaged, and enjoying it, you are really a professional. That was Lena - our guide and our friend. By the way, she is more fluent in English than a good many of native English speakers I know.

We would be most happy to host you or Lena here in the Washington, D.C. area should the opportunity ever arise only don't be surprised if we can't come close to matching Lena's expertise in telling you about our home town.
