Our May 2010 St. Petersburg tour was so memorable that I needed to share our experience with others so that they can book an Alex Tour with 100% confidence. The internet description of the tour was exactly what we wanted and the price was more than very reasonable. With any tour one books on the internet, months in advance, and from another country there is always concern that you may not receive exactly what you want. From the moment our guide met us as at the port we knew we were in for a memorable event.

Our bus was new and very comfortable. An absolute necessity when you are touring for 2 days! Our guide was amazing...she was a talking history book. By the end of the 2 day tour our entire group had a great understanding of Russian history. Finally, our driver was exactly where he was suppose to be at the exact time. We didn't waste one second waiting for our bus or driver! That is really important when you are on a tight schedule.

Seeing that our group was so small our guide continually asked for our input on the day's itinerary so that we spent time at the sites that interested us the most.

When back on the ship we compared tours with others and found ours quite superior. The cruise ship tours were twice the price plus had groups of 40 when we had groups of twelve.
